We offer free and confidential  mental health, alcohol and drug, sexual assault and violence counseling. MSUM Counseling Services fully supports Safe Space on campus, and we pledge to be confidential, nonjudgmental and supportive contacts for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex or asexual (LGBTQIA) members of the Minnesota State University Moorhead College community.

MSU Moorhead's Campus Care Team

MSU Moorhead's Campus Care Team provides faculty, staff and students a resource to contact if they have concerns about a student.

The Student Emergency Assistance fund is administered by the Campus Care Team. Current MSUM students can apply for an emergency grant when they are faced with a challenge that hinders completing their education.

Sexual Violence Prevention Training (SVPT)

The SVPT course focuses on promoting the intellectual awareness of all students, offering accessible resources and services from the university regarding sexual violence and sexual harassment. Students and employees are required to complete this course.

Sexual Harassment & Sexual Violence - Title IX

Acts of sexual violence are intolerable. MSUM expects all members of the campus community to act in a manner that does not infringe on the rights of others. We are committed to eliminating all acts of sexual violence. STOP Sexual Assault by joining the "It's On Us" national campaign that MSUM has adopted, which is focused on increasing education and awareness around preventing sexual violence on campus. All members of the campus community have a role to take in making our campus a safe place. Get educated and take the pledge.
