Minnesota State University Moorhead’s Master of Science (MS) in Cybersecurity prepares technically savvy students for an innovative career protecting systems, networks, and programs from digital attacks. MSUM’s MS in Cybersecurity can be completed in as little as 12 months or, through the 4+1 accelerated program, students can also complete their undergraduate and graduate degrees in 5 years.

Current MSUM undergraduate students can take advantage of the 4+1 program, getting a head start on their graduate degree. These accelerated pathways allow students to save time and money as they break into a rapidly growing field.
The MS in Cybersecurity is built with international students in mind! The program is visa-eligible, on-campus, and has STEM designation. Through the STEM designation, international students in this program will be eligible for three years of Optional Practical Training (OPT).
The program uses curriculum informed by industry standards through the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) and National Security Agency (NSA). MSUM works to provide hands-on experiences through physical and virtual labs.
