A critical shortage of special education teachers exists nationwide, leading our alumni to exceptional job placement within the field. The coursework for all licenses is Minnesota Board of Teaching approved, and the School of Teaching & Learning at MSUM is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). Receiving a degree or license from an accredited institution will give you a leg up in career advancement.
