Online Learner New Student Advising & Registration

Online students that are new to MSUM will register for an individualized Student Orientation, Advising and Registration (SOAR) process. This process can be done fully online and via phone to accommodate your unique needs as an online student.

When you register below, you are indicating your desire to begin the SOAR process and will be asked to log in with your Star ID and Password.

You will receive a confirmation email to your personal email account with a link to Online Orientation. You will need to complete the Online Orientation before you are contacted by a Transfer Specialist who will connect you with an advisor for course recommendations and class regsitration.
