Campus Chaplain
MSUM's Campus Chaplain is an interfaith role providing free confidential listening and spiritual care to all students, faculty, and staff who would appreciate it, regardless of their religious or non-religious backgrounds.
Career Development Center
The MSUM Career Development Center supports students in discovering their passions by providing programs, education, services and support throughout their journey from exploring student to prepared professional.
Child Care
The Early Education Center on MSUM campus is ia convenient daycare option for students, faculty, staff and the surrounding community.
Counseling Services
MSUM Counseling Services offers free and confidential mental health, alcohol and drug, sexual assault and violence counseling as nonjudgmental and supportive contacts for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex or asexual (LGBTQIA) members of the MSUM community.
Identity Centers
At MSUM, we embrace everyone's culture and identity. Our welcoming cultural and identity centers support, unite and inspire the MSUM campus and create a sense of community. Currently, we have five cultural and identity centers: George Soule American Indian Center (AIC), Intercultural Center, Rainbow Dragon Center (RDC), Veterans Resource Center and the Women's Center.
International Student & Scholar Services
MSUM International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) is dedicated to serving the University’s international community offering support with immigration, employment, taxes and more. ISSS also has programs and events throughout the year for students and the community.
Military-Connected and Veteran Resources
The Larry Shellito Veteran, Service Member & Family Success Center provides counseling, GI Bill certifications and tutorial assistance for MSUM students.
Speech-Language & Hearing Clinic
The MSU Moorhead Speech-Language & Hearing Clinic and Regional Assistive Technology Center (RATC) provides services, communication devices and knowledge of assistive technology and augmentative and alternative communication systems to consumers, families and professionals in Minnesota and North Dakota.

Student Handbook
The MSUM Student Handbook covers information about university policies and outlines the rights, responsibilities and privileges enjoyed by our entire university community—students, faculty and staff. Our goal is to promote and maintain a safe learning and living environment for all, inform you of your responsibilities, and aid in preventing violations of individuals’ rights.
Bus Services
The MATBUS U-Pass program offers unlimited free rides to MSUM students. U-Pass riders do not need a special pass; they just need to show a current college ID card when boarding. Learn more about schedules, hours and and real-time tracking at matbus.com.
The Jefferson College Connection is an initiative to form partnerships with colleges and universities to provide on-campus bus access to college students. Passengers enjoy free WiFi, electrical outlets, reclining seats, in-bus restrooms and a student discount on tickets. Jefferson Lines will arrive on campus and discharge passengers only if needed. Schedules are subject to change; students should visit the Jefferson Lines College Connection website to confirm schedule times before travel.
